As you can read on the 'The Girl' page, I love music. I am a singer and listen to music all the time. There's always a song stuck in my head. I love really deep and emotional songs, but I also like light summer songs. Easy and happy (although some of these songs have a message too). Perfect for that good old summer feeling. Every summer I make a playlist of songs I can not stop listen to. If you have some more, please share them with me!

Bright Summer Gradient | NAILS

Ohmy, I love bright colored nails in summer. It's like a little mix of everything and it makes me happy. So no, it wasn't that hard to make a decision about how I wanted my nails when the weather was FINALLY getting good. (and wauw, it is really really good). Added some glitters on the top on my nails to make it ever more girly haha.

My London Wishlist | SHOPPING

I am in London right now, YAY! Lucky me, I always wanted to go here. I am going to summer school to improve my English, but there is a lot of time left for sightseeing and shopping. And of course, as always, there are some things I really want to buy. Hopefully I find these or regular ones. :)

1) Kiko Mixing Solution. 2) a bustier (this one's from Primark), 3) A liquid Sand or (as Barry M calls it) a textured nail polish. 4) Too Faced Shadow Insurance Lemon Drop 5) a eyeliner brush (this one's from real techniques) 6) a skatergirl skirt (this one's from River Island.) 7) a casual backpack (this one's from Primark) 8) gladiator sandals. 9) MUA fur effect nails.

Teen Wolf Inspired | Nails

Ever heard of the show Teen Wolf? From I the minute I started watching it, I fell in love. It is so thrilling and fascinating. I figured out I had to do a nailart based on the show and came up with this. One thing I absolutely wanted, was matte nails. I think that looks tough. The spiral is the symbol of the wolfpack Scott (the main character) is in, so that definitely had to be in it too.

Love will keep us alive | OUTFIT

We all have that piece of clothing that we love SO much, but never wear. I have that with this skirt. I own this one for more than a year now, but since then I have never worn it to school or something. Time to change that. Last thursday I had to bring my books to school and guess what I was wearing. Yup.

Muscle Tee inspiration | TREND

Ohmy, sometimes there is this trend you just really really love. It's time again for me. I see more and more muscle tees and I just fell in love with it. HELLO FROM SPACE

Okay, first things first: I know, this picture is weird hahaha, but I just made it and felt like sharing it with you. Then, why I really made this post: HELLO, WELCOME TO FASHIONINSTEAD. This is my first blogpost over here, so I should probably introduce myself, right?

Okay, well, my name is Marijn and I am sixteen years old. I'm from Holland. My name is dutch so it is kind of hard to say for people abroad. You can say it like Maryn. :) I am still in Highschool and next year will (hopefully) be my last year. Can't wait till graduating haha. What else? I am a singer. I sing everywhere and everytime. That's my thing. I've had blogs before, but they were all written in dutch. This is my first Englisch blog. My English isn't perfect so I will definitely make mistake. Please tell me, I will only make my English better. 

Oh, I have to say: There will not be blogposts every day. I try to upload one post every two days, but I except next year to be really really tough, so I actually cannot promise anything about that.
